What are Online Statements?
Online Statements are a convenient and secure way to receive Citizens First Bank checking and savings account statements electronically through Citizens First Bank Online Banking. Online Statements include all of the same information as a paper statement, with the benefit of receiving them straight to your computer.

What are the benefits of Online Statements?
CONVENIENCE - Access your Online Statements anytime through Citizens First Bank Online Banking. With Online Statements you will receive your statements faster than through regular mail and they will be available online the day after your statement is generated. It also reduces paper clutter by providing access to your banking statements electronically.
ARCHIVED STATEMENTS - View your statements in an easy-to-read PDF format. Past checking statements are kept online for a full year.
SECURITY - Your Online Statements are accessible via Citizens First Bank’s secure Online Banking website and are backed by a secondary level of security using Enhanced Multifactor Authentication. Moreover, this service keeps your financial information out of your mailbox and trash and away from identity thieves.
PRINTABLE - Everything is printable should you find yourself with a need for a hard copy. Your Online Statement can also be saved to CD or internal or external hard drive for future reference.
CONTROL – Depending upon your account type, you can always return to having your paper statement mailed to you if needed. It is simple to go back to paper statements should you change your mind, so its easy to give it a try. How do I enroll in Online Banking?
If you have not enrolled on Citizens First Bank’s Online Banking, contact Customer Service for assistance or simply go to our home page at www.BankAtCFB.com and sign up today. Initially, the user ID will be your Social Security Number. After two log-ins using your Social Security Number you will be asked to update that ID to meet Enhanced Multifactor Authentication requirements. At that time you will be required to assign your account a "User ID" that must contain letters or a combination of letters and numbers and/or characters. You will use this new User ID from tht point on and will not be able to make any further User ID edits.

How do I enroll in Online Statements?
If you currently have access to your accounts in Citizens First Bank’s Online Banking simply log on and click the drop down “Additional Services” tab near the top of the account screen and click "Online Statements" to access. You will be asked to read the Online Statement Disclosure and can then decide to Accept or Decline. If you Decline, you can start the process again at anytime. It is that easy. If you accept, we will then send you an Email with detailed instructions to follow for you to verify that you have the ability to view Online Statements. Once that process is complete, we will update your account so you are able to view the next statement that becomes available. You will then receive an Email notification that your Online Statement(s) are available for viewing the day after your statement is generated.

When will I receive my first Online Statement?
Upon signing up for Online Statements, and once you accept the disclosure we will then send you an Email with detailed instructions to follow for you to verify that you have the ability to view Online Statements. Once that process is complete, we will update your account so you are able to view the next statement that becomes available. You will then receive an Email notification that your Online Statement(s) are available for viewing the day after your statement is generated. You’ll continue to receive a monthly Email notification that your online statement(s) are available for viewing.

Will my Online Statement look the same as my printed statement?
Yes. Your online statement will be a PDF version of your actual printed statement.

How will I know when I can view my Online Statement?
You will receive an Email notification from bankatcfb@mybankalerts.com whenever a new statement is available for viewing. To access it, simply login to Citizens First Bank Online Banking and select the drop down “Additional Services" tab near the top of the account screen and click on "Online Statements”. Select the account you wish to view in the drop down menu and then the statement you wish to view. We will not transmit your confidential account information through Email.

What are Email Notifications?
Once your Online Statements have been processed each time a statement is available to you, you will receive an Email notifying you that your statement is ready for viewing. You must login to your account through Citizens First Bank’s Online Banking to open the actual Online Statement.

Where will I find my Online Statements?
To view your Online Statement, login to your account in Citizens First Bank’s Online Banking like normal. Click on the drop down “Additional Services” tab near the top of the account screen and click "Online Statements" to access the "Online Statements" page.  Then select the account you wish to view in the drop down menu and then the statement you wish to view. The day the statement cuts determines the month it is viewed. If you don't see a statement in your first selection, try selecting the statement month prior.

How long will my Online Statements be available?
Statements will remain in the system for the 18 months from the date of your first Online Statement.

How do I opt out of Online Statements?
If you sign up for Online Statements, and then change your mind, you can simply contact a customer service representative and request to have that feature removed depending upon the type of account. Give one of our customer service representatives a call at 563-243-6000 if you choose to return to paper.

Do I need special software to use the Online Statement service?
You must have the Adobe Reader installed on your computer to use Online Statements. This program can be downloaded for free by clicking the link: http://get.adobe.com/reader/. A link to the Adobe Reader download is also available for you to use within the Online Statements page after you select account type and month.

Where do I go for Adobe Reader?
You will need to have Adobe Reader installed on your computer to view your Online Statements online. If you do not have this program installed, a free version can be found by clicking the link: http://get.adobe.com/reader/. A link to the Adobe Reader download is also available for you to use within the Online Statements page after you select account type and month.

Do Online Statements contain the same information as my paper statements?
Yes.

If a joint account holder registers for Online Statements, will the primary account holder continue to receive paper statements?
No. Once any account holder registers for Online Statements through online banking all paper statements will be discontinued.

What do I do if I change my Email address?
You can provide your new Email address by contacting a customer service representative at 563-243-6000 and notifying them of the change or change your Email in the “user options” section of Online Banking.

May I review the Online Banking disclosure once I’ve enrolled?
Yes, simply click on the link “Online Banking Disclosure” on the Online Statements page.

Will I continue to see my canceled check images online?
Yes. You will continue to see your canceled checks in Account Access Checking within online banking as well as within your Online Statement.
